Thank you for your interest in Synergy School. We invite you to explore our website and attend an orientation and tour in the fall to learn more about our progressive, hands-on approach to education.

We are an inclusive community and actively recruit a diversity of learners and a diversity of families. The criteria we use to evaluate applicants includes academic and social readiness for each grade level, philosophical match between the school and families, and willingness on the part of families to support and participate in our community.

The first step in the admissions process is to complete an inquiry form. Once the form is submitted, you’ll be prompted to schedule a parent only orientation and tour of the classrooms. You can select either an event in-person or one via Zoom. Face masks are required for in-person events. In the meantime, we are accepting applications on a rolling basis for the current school year, if there are openings. Please email admissions@synergyschool.org if you have any questions.

Once you have attended an orientation, a link to our online application is emailed to you. The deadline to apply for the 2023-2024 school year is Friday, January 6, 2023.

Once an application has been submitted, families should expect an email to schedule a 20-minute parent interview via Zoom conferencing. By mid-January, expect another email to schedule either a virtual or an in-person visit and interview for your child, depending on COVID protocols.

One-hour play dates for TK/Kindergarten applicants are scheduled on a Saturday in late January or early February.

Two-hour visits for 1st through 5th grade applicants are scheduled from mid-January through late February.

Half-day visits for middle school applicants are scheduled from mid-January through late February, followed by an interview day on a Saturday in February.

All are welcome to Synergy School’s open house on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Bring your family and friends and meet our teachers, staff, trustees, alumni and students. No registration is required, but an RSVP would be appreciated. Masks will be required for this optional but highly recommended event.

Teacher evaluations for all grade levels and student transcripts for 1st through 8th grade are due no later than January 31.

Families are asked to sign the applicable forms below and give them to their child’s teacher.

Transitional kindergarten decisions are emailed at noon on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. 

Kindergarten through 8th grade decisions are emailed at noon on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
