Diversity

DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

From the beginning, we have had a deep commitment to recognize and honor differences within our community and the world at large. We encourage our students to develop their voices and to have agency to affect change, to advocate, and to act as allies against racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, transphobia, and intolerance.

We work toward these goals by creating a safe space in our school, presenting multiple points of views in our teaching and curriculum, as well as building a community that reflects the ethnic and socio-economic diversity of San Francisco.

We affirm the necessity of engaging in ongoing work to create and sustain a socially just, equitable environment that actively works against all forms of bias and racism.
