Grandparents and Special Friends Day
Last Friday, Synergy opened its doors to grandparents and special friends for a morning of music, art, and festivity. Over seventy-five grandparents and friends viewed paintings and ceramics on display for the art show, enjoyed parachute play with Jana in the Hard Yard, played Bingo in Spanish with Uschi, and heard student poetry in the Rainbow Room. After refreshments and classroom tours, everyone gathered in the Big Room for a selection of music, including “Down by the Banks,” by the third grade, a fanciful version of “Swinging on a Star” sung by the choir, and Zimbabwean music performed by the seventh grade. Watch highlights of the day here.
