Drama - 8th Grade

The 8^th grade drama curriculum centers on a performance piece or play, performed over two evenings at an off-site theater. Students are involved in all aspects of the production including musical accompaniment, sound, and lighting. They prepare for their performance through an intensive rehearsal process.

• Alternating years of collaborative performance piece or a Shakespearian play

• Use creative and artistic vision to prepare for roles, and to understand character, motivation, plot, and the conveying of emotions
• Identifying with roles and characters
