The teachers’ cooperative is a group of individuals who come together to share a wide range of duties that support, prepare, and guide our students to a purposeful and meaningful life. We are entrusted with the education of our student body and exist to enact the highest ideas and mission of Synergy School. Our non-hierarchical structure is a model of collective leadership for our students and parent community.
Its members include all teachers and aides who make decisions related to program, curriculum, student life, and teacher hiring and evaluation, as well as an administrative team responsible for the school’s day-to-day operations and school wide communications. The team includes teacher-administrators who hold responsibilities that would normally be held by traditional school administrators and heads of school.
